With the subject of “China Dream, I Do”, this Micro Public Good Contest titled “Realize Dream in China, Be the First One to Do Public Good” is a public welfare activity conducted by university students, which aims to help the disadvantaged and transfer positive energy. Since this activity is launched, with the guidance and help of Youth League Committees insisting on the philosophy of being practical, overall planning and all-round consideration, The Refill& Heart Project of CSU Enactus though experiencing a serious of challenges, finally stands out from over 8000 projects of more than 1600 universities all over the country. Depending on the advantages of strong practicality, outstanding public benefits, and good social benefits, it was selected into top 100 groups, and win “The Best Innovation Prize” and “the Best Team Prize” (only two in the whole country) of ten individual prizes. Youth League Committee of CSU, which is the director of this project, has also been awarded “the Best Organization Prize” (only three in the central China)

In the process of communicating and discussing with advisor Wen CHEN, the Deputy Secretary of Youth League Committee of CSU, and Prof. Hongqi YE, the Dean of Chemical Engineering Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Institute, the project group has deeply realized the great importance of recycling the refill and the social value of recycling and dealing with these refills. They also obtained lots of valuable suggestions which lay the solid foundation for the later cooperation with the manufacturer of Chenguang, the Education Bureau of Changsha, and some middle schools. The project is operated orderly. Those middle schools recycle and count abandoned refills, then take them to the nearby Chengguang store (namely, Love Transfer Station) regularly, by which those abandoned refills will be transported to Chengguang Company in Hunan. Finally, this company will dispose the whole refills harmlessly, at the same time, the abandoned refills branded Chenguang will be converted to new refills and given to The Refill& Heart Project Group with the proposition of 5:1. The project group will donate these new refills to some poverty students. Within past three years of launching this public welfare activity, this project group has totally recycled over 0.57 million abandoned refills from 171 middle schools of six districts and four counties of Changsha, reduced 0.57 million square meters soil contamination, converted over 70000 new refills (72902), and helped more than 3100 poverty students from 11 poverty schools. The total number of direct participants is about 0.287 million.

The series of Public Good Activities of The Refill& Heart Project was also reported by 16 websites and print media, such as Chinese Communist Youth League Web, and China Daily. In addition, The Refill& Heart Project is short-listed in the finals of the First Contest of Chinese Youth Volunteer Service Project, and will go for gold medal on December 1 in Guangzhou.
