On the afternoon of February 28, 2015, Hunan Science and Technology Awards conference held in Changsha city. Provincial party committee secretary, director of the standing committee of the provincial Xu Shoucheng, vice secretary of provincial party committee, governor Du Jiahao attended the conference and awarded the prize winners. Sun Jinlong, vice secretary of provincial party committee presided over the meeting.The provincial leadership of Han Yongwen, Liu lianyu, Li Youzhi, Wu Jihai and the vice president of China Association for Science and Technology, Huang Boyun, all attended the conference.
Hunan Science and Technology Awards in the year of 2014 had selected 5 GuangZhao Technology Award winners, 31 Natural Science Award winners, 21 Technology Invention Award, 175 prize winners for Progress in Science and Technology and 51 Patent Award winners. Pro.Chen Xiaohong, honorary dean of Business School of CSU, was awarded the 9th Hunan Guangzhao Technology Award which remarked the scholar of subjects of administration won the award for the first time.
GuangZhao Technology Award established by Hunan people's government, is the highest comprehensive science prize of Hunan province with the election circle once every 2 years mainly for the talents who have made outstanding contributes to the field of economic, social and science development of Hunan province. Honorary certificates were directly issued by the people's government of Hunan province.
Pro.Chen Xiaohong had the honor to win 9th Hunan GuangZhao Technology Award which had marked the scientific research group led by Pro. Chen had made a great progress in scientific theory research. This event had improved the overall level of Hunan science and technology innovation and promoted the Two-type and Four modernization construction of Hunan province.
