On November 12, 2017, the 18th MBA Student Union Conference was held at the Management Building of Business School. Zhang Ying, associate dean of Business School, Li Huadong, deputy party secretary, Yang Qiujuan, director of MBA Management Center, Hu Wei, faculty of graduates affair office, Mr. Jiang Ning and Mr. Zhou Fangyi, as well as all the member of the 18th MBA Student Union attended the conference.
The conference started with a solemn national anthem. Former union president Mr. Li Ming reported the main work during the past half year of the 17th MBA Student Union. With the guidance and support of the school's party committee, MBA management center and graduates affair office, the union participated in various kinds of competitions, showing the passion and love for the people after the flood.
Later, Li Huadong, deputy party secretary, announced the list of members of the 18th MBA Student Union and presented the appointment letter to the members of the new union with associate dean Zhang Ying.
Professor Zhang Ying, associate dean of Business School, fully affirmed the work of the 17th union, and expected more for a new union. He hoped all the members could better serve the students, teachers, and enterprises, make MBA students study and work better, innovate more in activity forms, further facilitate students resources integration in the platform construction, and build a distinctive excellent union.
After the team presentation in each department, all the members of the union made a collective oath, promising to take their responsibilities to build a platform of knowledge, resources, funds and dreams for the MBA students of CSU with passion and dedication, and to create a united, progressive, truth-seeking and pragmatic atmosphere.
After the conference, all members of the union had their first work meeting, discussed the work plan of the union around communication, cooperation and activities among various department, determined the working meeting system and promised to make concerted efforts to carry out the activities of the union and fly dreams together with all the MBA students.
