On the morning of June 13, Professor Gong Yanping, dean of Business School, visited Jiangwan Business Building construction site to check the progress of the project as well as the construction unit, supervision unit and audit department staff.
In the meeting room of the construction site, Professor Gong first listened to the work report of the project department. The construction unit expressed sincere gratitude to the Business School for their support and cooperation in the building construction process, and gave a brief introduction to the current status and future plans of the building project. Professor Gong gave full affirmation to the construction unit's preliminary work, put forward the request and hopes to the next stage of the project, and expressed the festival congratulations on behalf of the Business School to the staff who paid hard work for the building construction.
Later, accompanied by the person in charge of the project, Professor Gong put on her helmet and checked the construction site. At present, it is the construction stage of underground garage floor and bearing platform. Workers are busy at the construction site. The entire construction site is clean and in order, with safety measures in place, which better reflects the good construction level of a big enterprise.
The construction unit and other responsible units were deeply moved and inspired by Professor Gong's visit to the construction site before the Dragon Boat Festival. They promised to continue their efforts to build Jiangwan Business Building into a landmark building of the new campus of Central South University.
It is reported that Jiangwan Business Building will finish the base construction by the end of July. The main building construction will be completed by the end of October, and it will be put into use by the end of 2019.
