On May 21, 2019, Professor Jason Huang, former dean of Taiwan National Sun Yat-sen University, emeritus professor, and mentor of AACSB international accreditation, was invited to advice on the AACSB accreditation in our school. He answered the questions existing in the process of AACSB accreditation in our school and gave guidance on the next step.
In the morning, Professor Huang had a discussion with the AACSB report writing team and gave detailed answers and guidance on initial Self-Evaluation Report (iSER) writing. During the symposium, Professor Huang had a heated discussion with teachers from the report writing team, which played an important role in the improvement of the iSER and the promotion of the accreditation progress.
In the afternoon, Professor Ren Shenggang, secretary of the party committee of the business school, Professor Gong Yanping, dean of the business school and other leaders of the school held a discussion with Professor Huang in conference room 305. Secretary Ren Shenggang presided over the symposium and extended a warm welcome to Professor Huang's visit. Vice dean Wei Ping reported to Professor Huang on the overall situation of the school and the progress of business school accreditation. The leaders of the school discussed and communicated with Professor Huang about the problems in the accreditation. In the end, Dean Gong Yanping summarized the discussion and thanked Professor Huang again for his visit and guidance.
