Central South University Signed MOU Successfully with Five Parties

Central South University(CSU) signed MOU with five parties, namely, Hunan Securities Regulatory Bureau, Shanghai Exchange Stock, Securities Association of Hunan and Founder Securities, in the campus on May 25, 2021.

Zhou Yongming, member of the Party Committee and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection in Hunan Securities Regulatory Bureau; Ren Shenggang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Business School; Gong Yanping, Dean of the Business School; Wang Wei, Director of Legislative Affairs Office in Hunan Securities Regulatory Bureau; Huang Aiguo, Vice General Manager of Investors Service Department in Shanghai Stock Exchange; Liu Danyue, Vice President of Securities Association of Hunan; Jiang Zhijun, Vice President of Founder Securities, and some relevant heads and faculties as well as 40 student representatives from CSU attended this signing ceremony.

Chen Chunyang, Vice President of CSU, discussed university-enterprise cooperation, investor education and other relevant issues with the parties before official signing.

This ceremony is hosted by Secretary Ren. At the beginning of the ceremony, Dean Gong indicated that the university-enterprise cooperation is a great response to the General Secretary Xi Jinpings call of adapting education to the development requirements of the country, making education consistent with peoples expectation and matching with Chinas comprehensive national strength and international status., and an useful attempt to response to the needs of up-to-date finance situation and deal with new challenges for financial talents cultivation. The School will optimize talent cultivation program and innovate the program model through university-enterprise cooperation, joint cultivation and practical education etc..

Mr. Zhou Yongming emphasized that Hunan Securities Regulatory Bureau holds the fort for the interest of people in recent years, continuously working on investors education. The MOU with CSU will promote incorporating investor education into national education system and make it practicable in Hunan.

Mr. Huang Aiguo said that incorporating investor education into national education system should response to the requirements of China Securities Regulatory Commission. To improve the adaptation, inclusion and systematization of this work, we should build a new work pattern which concentrates on the investor education being brought into universities, primary and secondary schools and communities.

Mr Liu Danyue mentioned that CSU is a major partner for the Association in taking investor education into universities. This signing will enlarge the cooperation field and enrich the cooperation content between the two parties. It will expands diversified financial education channels and brings correct investment values for students.

It is pointed out by Mr. Jiang Zhijun that this MOU is an agreement of five parties, which is an alliance between giants and beneficial for all. The cooperation will be implemented from aspects such as discipline construction, academic research, talent cultivation and investor education, building a direct tunnel for talent cultivation.

The signing of MOU is a vital signal for all five parties to strengthen cooperation and make supplementary advantages for each other in terms of talent cultivation, investor education and academic research, etc. It is also an important symbol for the Business School to fully implement education policy of the country, keeping in mind of the mission of cultivating business elites with great virtue and innovative spirit, as well as exploring a new model of financial talent cultivation.
